Buisch new pastor at First Presbyterian Church
The congregation of First Presbyterian Church of Siloam Springs recently announced the arrival of the church’s new Senior Pastor, Jonathan Buisch.
Buisch (pronounced “Bish”) comes to Siloam Springs from South Bend, Ind., where he served as a hospital chaplain for the past 31/2 years, while also preaching at several Evangelical Presbyterian Churches (EPC) in the area.
The new pastor holds a Bachelor of Science in Religion and Philosophy from Roberts Wesleyan College, and earned his Master of Divinity from Redeemer Seminary in Dallas, Texas.
He was ordained to the ministry through the EPC in 2016. He brings a strong theological and biblical foundation, personal maturity, solid preaching, collegial leadership and excellent relational skills to his new leadership role at First Presbyterian.
Buisch and his wife, Pauline, an Old Testament scholar, have a 19-monthold daughter, and are expecting the birth of their son in early March.
They have found the church and the community of Siloam Springs to be very welcoming and encouraging as they settle into their new surroundings.
Buish and the congregation of First Presbyterian Church welcome all in the community to their Sunday church service at 10:50 a.m., preceded by Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:30.
All are encouraged to stay for a time of fellowship with the church family, following the morning service. The church is located at 302 N. Maxwell in Siloam Springs.
