Cobb-Vantress recognized for commitment to team-member engagement

■ High levels of engagement earn Cobb a place in NBRI’s Circle of Excellence.

The National Business Research Institute (NBRI) recently welcomed CobbVantre­ss Inc. to the NBRI Circle of Excellence.

The organizati­on recognizes companies that place a high value on employee and customer engagement. Each year, Cobb-Vantress conducts team-member surveys with the help of NBRI. Then the results are used to shape improvemen­ts to operations and strategy.

“We’re committed to continuous improvemen­t, and NBRI helps us measure and identify trends in teammember engagement over time. I’m proud of our scores and thrilled that our team-members feel connected to their work at Cobb. Like our logo says, we truly are one family with one purpose,” said Shanna Morgan, U.S. human resources director.

Cobb-Vantress qualified for this Best in Class honor by scoring at or above the 75th percentile when measured against others in the poultry industry.

“Employee engagement drives financial performanc­e,” said Dr. Jan G. West, Ph.D., CEO and organizati­onal psychologi­st at NBRI. “This award is a result of Cobb-Vantress’ dedication to measuring and improving their employee engagement.”
