Ninth-grade volleyball loses at Rogers Heritage
ROGERS — The Siloam Springs ninth-grade volleyball team was defeated by Rogers Heritage 2-0 (25-9, 25-16) on Thursday night at War Eagle Arena.
Dorothy Swearingen led the Lady Panthers with two kills and two blocks, while Brianna Wood and Makaylee Reicheneker each had one kill.
The ninth-graders were defeated 2-0 (25-14, 2515) by Rogers on Tuesday night.
Sophia Lange and Swearingen each had three kills to lead the Lady Panthers, while Cora Dewey had two kills and Wood and Jensen Kelly one kill each. Swearingen, Emma Norberg, Allison Williamson and Kami Hulbert each had one ace.
Eighth-grade
The eighth-graders went 1-1 this past week. On Tuesday, the eighth-graders defeated Bentonville Lincoln 25-15, 25-20. On Wednesday, the eighthgraders were defeated 25-15, 25-10 at Fayetteville Woodland, snapping a three-match winning streak.
Seventh-grade
In seventh-grade action, the Lady Panthers dropped both of their games this past week.
On Tuesday, the seventhgraders lost 25-17, 25-13 to Bentonville Lincoln, and then on Wednesday, they lost 25-10, 25-10 to Fayetteville Woodland.

The seventh- and eighthgraders play at Rogers Kirksey on Monday and at Bentonville Fulbright on Tuesday, while the ninthgraders play at Bentonville West on Tuesday.
