Colcord shuts out Westville; Kansas blanks Ketchum

COLCORD, Okla. — Blake Gonzales scored three touchdowns and Aidan Parker added two scores as Colcord blanked Westville 42-0 at Hornet Stadium.

Parker scored on touchdown runs of 16 and 4 yards in the first and second quarters respective­ly to take a 15-0 lead at halftime.

Gonzales had an 80-yard kickoff return in the third quarter for a 21-0 lead. Gonzales then ran for a 5-yard score and he hauled in a 16-yard pass from Raven Difrancisc­o for a 35-0 lead.

Difrancisc­o rushed for a 47-yard TD to set the final score. He completed 13 of 19 passes for 155 yards and rushed for 93 yards.

Colcord (2-0) is scheduled to host Porter this week.

Kansas 50, Ketchum 0

KETCHUM, Okla. — Daris Glass rushed for three touchdowns and Easton Wiggins added two more scores on the ground as the Comets picked up their first win of the season.

Glass carried 17 times for 150 yards, while Wiggins rushed nine times for 84 yards. The Comets (1-1) had 307 rushing yards as a team, including 45 yards and a touchdown by Wyatt Curtiss and 41 yards by Bobby Honaker.

Wiggins completed 7 of 15 passes for 115 yards. Chance Kolysko led Kansas with three catches for 42 yards, while Glass had one catch for 31 yards and Brent Morikawa two catches for 33 yards.

Wiggins had two intercepti­ons, while the Comets recovered four fumbles.

Kansas plays at Westville on Friday.

Watts 58, Wilson-Henryetta 8

HENRYETTA, Okla. — Watts improved to 2-0 with the win at Wilson-Henryetta. The Engineers host Cave Springs this Friday.

Keota 48, Oaks 0

KEOTA, Okla. — The Warriors dropped to 0-3 with the shutout loss at Keota.

The Warriors are idle this week.
