Dixie “Daisy” Beatrice Wil­son, 86, of Gen­try, Ark., died Wed­nes­day, Sept. 12, 2018, at the Legacy Vil­lage in Ben­tonville, Ark.

She was born Feb. 12, 1932, in Tere­sita, Okla., to Sam Wof­ford and Bertha Webb Wof­ford. She mar­ried Den­ver Wil­son Sr., on May 16, 1969, in Mi­ami, Okla. She re­tired from Peter­son Farms. She en­joyed cro­chet­ing, can­ning, fish­ing with her hus­band, do­ing word searches, yard sales, col­lect­ing dolls and thim­bles, and lis­ten­ing to Con­way Twitty.

She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band; two brothers, Jack and Vol­lie Wof­ford; two sis­ters, Jewell Cowan and Lu­cille Blair; her son, Larry Williams; and a son-in-law, Kerry Vin­cent Thomp­son.

She is sur­vived by two daugh­ters, Jackie White­head and hus­band Den­ver, and Lori John­ston and hus­band Kevin, all of Gen­try; two sis­ters-in-law, Linda San­ders-Smith of Siloam Springs, Ark., and Thelma Green­berg of Prairie Vil­lage, Kan.; one broth­erin-law, Marvin Wil­son of Fayet­teville, Ark.; eight grand­chil­dren; 15 great­grand­chil­dren; and seven great-great-grand­chil­dren.

Grave­side ser­vices were held at the Gen­try Ceme­tery on Sept. 15, 2018, with the Rev. Dale John­ston of­fi­ci­at­ing.
