Representatives of a Siloam Springs-based drug disposal company presented their Enhanced Drug Take Back Program to Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Sept. 26.

Larry Kenemore, CEO of Stat-Medicament-Disposal Corporation; his wife Cheryle Kenemore; Rick Dickerson, company president; and AnnaMarie Figiel Dickerson, corporate secretary, traveled to Little Rock to give Hutchinson more information about the company and its 2017 Outstanding Green Business of the Year Award from SCORE.

Kenemore presented Hutchison with one of the company’s Enhanced Drug Take Back bottles — used for safe in-home disposal of pharmaceuticals, over the counter medications and vitamins — and outlined to the governor how the program would help Arkansas address the opioid crisis and prevent polluted drinking water.

Kenemore also showed the governor the company’s kiosks, which are provided as part of their program, and can be safely placed in hospitals, doctor’s offices, pharmacies, businesses and police departments at no cost to the municipality.
