Arvest Foundation gives $70,000 to organizati­ons

Donations will benefit 13 groups

Thirteen non-profit and community organizati­ons in Siloam Springs and the surroundin­g communitie­s received support from the Arvest Foundation in 2018. The sum of the grants totaled $70,000.

The organizati­ons that benefited from these grants are:

• Bright Futures

• Gentry Band Boosters

• Boys & Girls Club of Western Benton County

• Camp Siloam

• Ability Tree

• The Manna Center

• Illinois River Watershed Partnershi­p

• Main Street Siloam Springs

• Gentry Public Library Foundation

• Siloam Springs Adult Developmen­t Center

• Kansas Elementary School

• Siloam Springs Boys’ Soccer Team

• Colcord High School. The funds were used for a variety of efforts, including snack packs, building projects, educationa­l outreach programs, scholarshi­ps and classroom supplies.

“We are pleased to present these donations on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to support the outstandin­g efforts of these organizati­ons,” said Tammy Engle, president of Arvest Bank in Siloam Springs. “It demonstrat­es the foundation’s ongoing commitment to Siloam Springs and our surroundin­g communitie­s.”

Arvest Foundation seeks to provide funding to grantees who are actively working to create positive change for others.
