Softball registration
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Benton County is now taking registrations for girls youth softball in Siloam Springs.
New this year are two local leagues for kindergarten through second grade and third through fifth grade.
Both leagues will play all their games in Siloam Springs on Thursday nights allowing more practices during the week.
The 12-and-under and 14U travel leagues will be offered with games in Siloam Springs and nearby communities.
Registration is $50 per child and is available at the Boys & Girls Club at 655 Heritage Ct. or online at www. bgcwbc.org.

Spring registration
Siloam Springs Futbol Club (SSFC) will be taking registrations for the spring season through Feb. 9.
Registration is available online at www.siloamspringsFC.com or by visiting the Parks and Recreation Department located at 401 West University St. Please have exact change in a sealed envelope when dropping off at Parks and Rec.
Final Registration will be held at the Siloam Springs Arvest West Branch (next to Atwoods) on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 9 a.m. to noon. Look for the SSFC banner.
Spring registration fees are $70 for the first child with $5 discounts for each sibling. For returning fall players, the fee is $50 with a 5$ discount for returning sibling. Children between the ages of 5-17 may participate.

All Sports Passes
Siloam Springs School District Athletics All Sports passes for 2018-2019 season will be available for purchase beginning July 23.
Passes are $20 for SSSD students in grades K-12, $60 for adults, and $150 for a family pass — two adults and two or more SSSD students all living in the same home.
Passes are good for all home SSSD athletic events. Excluded events are AAA benefit games, booster club events and state tournament games.
Senior exercise options
The Walton Lifetime Health Complex on the campus of John Brown University is a participating facility for both SilverSneakers and Silver&Fit programs. These programs are designed for senior Medicare/Medicaid eligible members and offer a unique blend of physical activity for all. Classes are offered five days a week and are taught by certified instructors. Classes meet Monday through Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. There also is a class that meets in the indoor pool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday called “Splash.” If eligible, a SilverSneakers or Silver&Fit membership could be covered by insurance at no charge or for a maximum of $25 a year.
