While being kidnapped by Cyrus’s goons was a traumatizing event for GH’S Cameron, his portrayer, William Lipton, had an absolute blast filming those episodes. “They were just so fun!” he declares. “Not only was I working with talented actors and actresses such as Donnell [Turner, Curtis] and Sydney [Mikayla, Trina] and Réal [Andrews, ex-taggert] and all those fantastic stunt people, it was filled with gunfire and action and just felt so exciting. When I worked with Steve Burton [Jason] on the part where Cameron was about to die, even though it seemed pretty scary, it was one of my favorite scenes to film in the two years I’ve been working at GH.” Lipton notes that he prepared differently than he does when playing Cam in a less stressful scenario. “You have to remember you’re not stepping into the situation as William, you’re stepping into the situation as Cam. So how’s Cam feeling? Cam’s probably feeling very scared for himself and his friends. I really have to forget that I’m William and put myself in that situation, and when you do, the feelings start coming in naturally.”
