At Chancellor Park, Diane prevents Ashland from speaking to Harrison. Later, Michael tells Diane that he needs her help in getting Ashland to violate his restraining order against Harrison.
Adam informs Victor that he won’t run Newman Media after Victoria takes back the CEO seat at Newman Enterprises .... Nick formally accepts Victoria’s offer to be COO .... Victor, Nikki, Nick and Victoria toast to a new era at the company .... Adam warns Sally that things are about to get ugly at NE .... Nick fills in Sharon, Noah and Faith about his new gig. He asks Noah to lead New Hope. After, Sharon frets to Nick and Faith that Noah seems ambivalent about taking over New Hope .... Noah confesses to Allie that he doesn’t want to work at New Hope. She urges him to go after what he wants.
PEACE OUT
Diane advises Allie to be wary of Phyllis. Allie later tells Traci that she believes Phyllis and Diane have been pumping her for info about Jack.
Phyllis warns Kyle that he’s making a mistake in protecting his mother. Meanwhile, Diane tells Nikki that Kyle and Summer hired her at Marchetti, so Nikki needs to accept that she’s sticking around. At Nikki’s urging, Phyllis admits to Summer that she can’t keep the truce with Diane.
SALLY FORTH
Victoria considers firing Sally, but Nick wants to speak with Ms. Spectra first to find out what’s happening with Adam at the company. Meanwhile, Victor tells Sally that if she cares about Adam, she’ll step down so he can resume running Newman Media. After Nick reveals
to Adam that Victoria may let Sally go, Adam assures Sally he’ll handle things.
Adam tells Ashland that he can help Ashland bring down Victoria and Victor.
ROADBLOCK
Imani informs Amanda that Naya had a seizure and is asking to see Amanda.
At their dinner meeting, Imani fibs to Nate that Sally canceled on them, but she asks him to keep her company because she’s upset about her mom’s health.
DAY ONE
Is Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Nick’s relationship back to what it once was? Joshua Morrow answers:
Noah invites Allie to dinner to celebrate her first day interning at Jabot. Sharon overhears Allie and Noah talking about him wanting to leave
New Hope. Later, Sharon expresses concern about Noah’s path to Traci, who assures Sharon that he’ll find his way.
FINAL ANSWER
Adam promises Sally that he’ll convince Victoria to keep her on as Newman Media CEO. After they make love, Adam slips out of the room.
Ashland asks Victor and Victoria to have a final visit with Harrison before he leaves town but Victor refuses. A furious Ashland trashes his hotel room. Later, Adam tells Victoria that he’s breaking up with Sally so he’ll have no influence over her role at
Newman Media.
FEEL THE BURN
After witnessing Nick tell Victor that Noah will be heading up New Hope, Allie asks Noah if he’s having second thoughts about leaving his position.
Michael informs Nikki that his investigator didn’t find any incriminating details about Diane’s time in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Phyllis scolds Ashland for his cancer hoax and warns him against violating his restraining order. Later, Diane texts Michael when Ashland and Harrison are together in the park.
TURN TO YOU
Imani admits to Lily that the tension from Naya’s illness has caused friction between her and Amanda. After speaking to Amanda about Naya going to a rehab place in Virginia, Imani breaks down in Nate’s arms.
