Simrad’s AP48 autopilot controller for Continuum systems has an optically bonded 4.1-inch color display and a 170degree viewing angle. With the same intuitive interface as the compact AP44, the AP48 has a larger rotary dial, dedicated dodge keys and other extended keypad controls. Built-in turn patterns may be customized to execute complex spirals, zigzags and other maneuvers. Interfaced with a compatible sounder, the AP48 tracks depth contours and can auto-steer to a constant water depth — for following depth contours while fishing or cruising.
