New Diesel Inboards From Mercury

Mercury Marine in August announced a line of new 3.0-liter diesel engines for the sterndrive, inboard and water jet markets. The lineup will include 150-, 230- and 270-hp models based on a six-cylinder power head. All three engines comply with Tier 3 emissions standards. They are compatible with Mercury’s SmartCraft technologies, which give owners instant access to a broad array of engine-related data, and also provide maintenance alerts and troubleshooting guidance.
