PET OF THE WEEK ‘I enjoy a good game of pickleball’

Turtle is not really a turtle; he just has that as an awesome name and his beautiful brindle coat might remind you of the back of a box turtle. Once on the shy side, this 3-year-old is starting to come out of his shell and enjoys getting attention from the volunteers, playing fetch, chasing balls, going for walks, and watching pickleball. However, Turtle does not like geese, fireworks or bicycles passing by.
Turtle, unlike his name, is energetic and would benefit from an experienced dog owner who is also active and willing to provide time for Turtle's favorite activities. Turtle has a protective nature and may need some training in greeting guests. He is crate trained, housebroken and already knows many commands.
