The Florida High School Athletic Associatio­n will officially release final playoff point standings, first-round pairings and brackets during a live web show on Sunday at 11 a.m.

As we are now within 24 hours of the official release, Sun Sentinel sports reporter David Furones projects what playoff seeding will look like for regions involving Broward or Palm Beach County teams from Class

8A on down to 1A. Keep in mind these are projection­s based on the FHSAA playoff points system. These are not official playoff standings. Last season, Furones correctly predicted 100 percent of the teams that would make the playoffs in regions examined – and in their correct seed, aside from flipping home-field advantage in one 2-3 matchup in Class

4A.
