- By Rod Stafford Hagwood

Ringo Starr’s concert at Hollywood’s Hard Rock Live isn’t until June 27, but you can snatch up tickets starting this Friday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m.

All you have to do is go to MyHRL.com. According to press materials from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, tickets prices will be $60, $100 and $180.

Co-starring with Starr is his All Starr Band, with Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Gregg Rolie, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette and Hamish Stuart.

The tour supports Starr’s latest album, “What’s My Name,” that debuted in October and is the former Beatle’s 20th studio record.

Around the same time Starr, whose real name is Richard Starkey, also released his third book, “Another Day In The Life,” a collection of photographs and first-hand stories (previously his tomes included

“Photograph” in 2013 and “Postcards From The Boys” in 2004).

Post-Beatles, Starr had chart successes in the early ’70s with “It Don’t Come Easy,” “Back Off Boogaloo” and “Photograph,” all co-written with George Harrison. Then there was “You’re Sixteen,” “Oh My My” and covers of the Platters’ “Only You” and Hoyt Axton’s “No No Song.”

While subsequent music didn’t include any hits, Starr continued to record and tour. He appeared in the Martin Scorsese 1978 documentary The Last Waltz” about the Band’s farewell concert and the 1985 recording of “Sun City” by Artists United Against Apartheid.

After appearing in the Beatles movies, Starr appeared on the big screen in roles starting in the 1968 with “Candy.” He went on to co-star in films such as Frank Zappas “200 Motels” in 1971, Ken Russell’s “Lisztomania” in 1975 and “Caveman” in 1981 where he met his second wife actress Barbara Bach.
