Coming together will be difficult

I amashamed that so many ofmy fellow citizens drank the“koo l-aid” and supported Trump and the Republicans who have tried so hard over the last four years to damage the rule of law that holds this republic together. In addition they have encouraged violence against minorities, closed the door to refugees, damaged efforts to curb the warming of the planet, tried to stop citizens from voting and having their vote counted and snuggled up to dictators and autocrats. Are those who are against immigration Native Americans, or do they forget how their families arrived here? I do not think Trump and his followers were 100% at fault creating the hate and divisiveness we see, but they certainly stir red the pot and encouraged all the negativity and evil that came to the surface. How do we move forward and regain our decency, humanity and rightful place in theworld?
