Caroline Wozniacki, a professional tennis player who was once the world’s top-ranked female player and who racked up 30 WTA singles titles before retiring in 2020, and her husband, David Lee, a former professional basketball player and two-time NBA All-Star, have listed their 8,430-square-foot condominium on Fisher Island for $17.5 million.

Fisher Island, located off the tip of Miami Beach, is accessible only by ferry, private boat or helicopter and is home to the nation’s wealthiest ZIP code

(33109), where residents had an average income in

2018 of $2.2 million, according to Bloomberg’s annual ranking of the richest ZIP codes in the United States.

The contemporary residence, at 7081 Fisher Island Drive, is located in the luxurious Palazzo Del Sol building, a 10-story condominium with 46 units that boasts “six-star” concierge services and amenities, including a fitness center, private massage rooms, a hair and makeup salon, state-of-the-art movie theater, zero-edge pool, butler-staffed aperitivo bar and a valet.

The unit, built in 2016, has five bedrooms, six baths, a private elevator, a gourmet Boffi kitchen with Gaggenau and Sub-Zero appliances and over 2,400 square feet of wraparound terraces, offering additional outdoor living areas with views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, the Miami Beach Marina and Government Cut.

“This unit truly is a luxury mansion in the sky, with the most amazing views,” said Jill Eber, a real estate agent with The Jills Zeder Group of Coldwell Banker Realty, who holds the listing with colleague Jill Hertzberg.

According to public records, the sellers purchased the unit in October 2018 through an affiliated limited liability company for $13.5 million. “They love the home and the island,” said Hertzberg. “However, with just them two, the property is too big. They are downsizing, but staying on the island.”

In addition to the services and amenities available at Palazzo Del Sol, Fisher Island offers residents use of a beach club, spa, gourmet market, golf course, tennis, two deep-water marinas, multiple dining venues and a private school. Residents of Palazzo Del Sol also have access to the lap pool and restaurant in the nearby Palazzo Del Luna building.

According to a Jan. 8 news release from Coldwell Banker, The Jills Zeder Group exceeded $1 billion in sales in 2020, one of the first real estate teams in the nation to reach that milestone in just one year.
