The criteria for each location may vary, so be sure to check the site requirements before you make your appointment.
The state-run sites in Broward County have dropped a requirement that appointments are necessary; anyone can walk or drive up and get the vaccine.
Florida
The Department of Health “pre-registration” website can be found at myvaccine.fl.gov. Residents can be notified directly when appointments near them are available at state-run COVID-19 vaccine sites.
The Federal Retail Pharmacy Program sends vaccines directly to area drugstores. The pharmacies in South Florida include CVS, Publix, Winn-Dixie, Walgreens and Walmart.
CVS: Distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is suspended; only Pfizer or Moderna vaccines will be used. CVS Pharmacy, CVS Pharmacy y más, and Navarro Discount Pharmacy locations across Florida distribute the vaccine. Sign-up is at cvs.com/

Pompano Beach. Pat Larkins Community Center, 520 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Pompano Beach. Because this site relied on the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, which has been suspended by the CDC, the opening is delayed until replacement vaccines are available.

Broward Health: Broward Health provides vaccines at the Inter Miami CF Stadium at Lockhart Park, 1350 NW 55th St., Fort Lauderdale. People should check BrowardHealth.org for updates on when new appointment requests are available. The health system maintains a wait list as day-of appointments become available. Anyone who needs to cancel or reschedule an appointment should complete the form at BrowardHealth.org/COVIDReschedule.

Palm Beach County
Homebound: Homebound residents who want a vacccine should e-mail HomeboundVaccine@ em.myflorida.com with name and phone number to put in a request. Someone from the Florida Division of Emergency Management will contact people within 72 hours to collect more information and schedule appointments. FDEM is not accepting phone calls for this program.
The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center is offering the COVID-19 vaccine to veterans of all ages who receive care at the VA, by appointment and on a walk-in basis. Veterans must be able to return to the same site for their second dose. For more information

Florida Division of Emergency Management: The state has been offering vaccine appointments at Miami Marlins Stadium and Hard Rock Stadium. Residents can monitor 1-888-499-0840 for availability. People are urged not to arrive more than 30 minutes before their appointment; anyone with an appointment is guaranteed a vaccine.
Miami Gardens. Hard Rock Stadium, 347 Don Shula Drive, Miami Gardens, expanded hours this week to accommodate people who could not get a Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Drive-thru location for first and second doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, seven days a week from 8 a.m. to
