Agnes Boyle Faber

-

Agnes May Boyle Faber (Honey) of BOCA RATON passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 3,

2021. She was 91. Born on July 13, 1930 (although if you asked her, it was

1931) to Daniel and Elizabeth Boyle in WilkesBarre PA, she was the youngest of eight.

She graduated from the Arts High School of Newark in 1950 and attended Newark State

College in 1972.

Aggie Met “Billy” William Faber on Belmar Beach,

NJ and they were married on June 15, 1957 in North Arlington, NJ! They had a “Notebook” kind of romance that lasted for 65 years until Bill’s death in 2020. Aggie and Bill raised their children and her beloved Snoopy in Cranford and North Miami Beach and retired in Boca Raton and Monroe Twp. NJ.

She was the president of Sisterhood at the Temple Emanu-El in Westfield, NJ from 1975 to 1977 where she brought their annual Creative Crafts show to fame. She was a volunteer manager at the Arc of Union Country thrift store.

Aggie was an avid golfer at Braidburn, Twin Brooks, and Concordia Country Clubs in NJ and Boca Pointe, and Sherbrooke Country Clubs in FL, winning the club championships numerous times. Bill and Aggie traveled the world by cruise ship and loved to see a Broadway show. She was a dancer, an artist, a tennis player and card player and there wasn’t a flea market from Jersey to Florida that didn’t know her name! The family will miss her traditional “sisters” wedding dance and toast! Aggie is survived by her sister Catherine Nagengast, Daughter Laurie (Faber) Tidcombe, and Son Robert and his wife Judy. She was Nana to Sarah, Ian, and Jake Faber and Daniel and Jessica Tidcombe and beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Aggie was a devoted proud Nana to her Grandchildren whom she called her “Sweet Angels” and she loved to watch them at their sporting events, art shows, dance recitals, and music concerts.

We love you “7” in the whole world and all fifty states! A memorial celebration of life for both Aggie and Bill will be held at a later date.
