is the new director of culinary services at Toby & Leon Cooperman Sinai Residences of Boca Raton, responsibl­e for leading all culinary services and staff at the luxury continuing care retirement community.

Vi at Lantana announced Shaun Gavin, care center administra­tor, received the 2021 Palm Beach County’s Top 25 Frontliner­s and Healthcare Heroes award from Sha’s Community Initiative. She was honored for her leadership and for the care and protection she provided for the residents of the community’s skilled nursing facility during the pandemic.

United Way of Broward County announced a strategic partnershi­p with two local leaders to craft its programmat­ic and sustainabi­lity strategy for its new Affordable Housing Initiative: Marcia BarrySmith, president of MBS Consulting Services, and Heidi Alzate Kaufman, president of Heidi Alzate Consulting, to lead the Initiative’s fundraisin­g campaign.

Cozen O’Connor announced that it has expanded its domestic footprint with the opening of a new office in Boca Raton and the addition of attorneys from the boutique firms Morris Law Group and Elder Law Associates PA: Stuart R.
