Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, fresh off his seventh Super Bowl title, faces the Dolphins for the first time since his final regular-season game as a Patriot in December of 2019 after what used to be a twice-annual series in the AFC East. In 35 games against Miami, Brady is 23-12 — the 12 losses the most he has against any opponent — with 67 touchdowns and 27 interceptions . ... The Dolphins are expected to activate nose tackle Raekwon Davis off injured reserve, which should help a run defense ranked 27th in the NFL. Miami had both starting cornerbacks — Xavien Howard and Byron Jones — limited in practice earlier this past week, but the tandem is expected to play against a Tampa receiving corps led by Antonio Brown, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
