REAL ESTATE
My State MLS, a nationwide multiple listing service, announced that R. Michael Brown joined the team as vice president of marketing and communications. Brown was most recently a consultant at R. Michael Brown LLC.
RKW Residential, a multifamily management firm, announced the addition of Sabrina DeLorme and the promotion of Chantal Renaud, in Miami. DeLorme, a new regional manager with RKW, started her career with Trammell Crow Residential and continuing during its transition to Riverstone Residential, and she was regional supervisor for Fairfield Residential. Renaud oversaw the RKW-managed Seabourn Cove in Boynton Beach prior to her promotion.
PEBB Enterprises, a private real estate investment firm, announced the addition of William Griffiths as controller, operations, in Boca Raton. Most recently, Griffiths spent two years as a controller for O’Connor Capital Partners.
PUBLIC RELATIONS, MARKETING
Durée & Company promoted Caroline Williams
and Samantha Mozdzierz
to account director positions. Williams joined Durée & Company in September 2015 as an account coordinator, and later was promoted to associate account executive, account executive, senior account executive, and account manager. Mozdzierz joined the company in 2016 as an intern and then held the positions of account coordinator, account executive and account manager with the firm.
BoardroomPR named Laura Burns as senior vice president. Burns has been vice president since 2019 and account director before that.
FINANCE
Terrabank announced the promotion of Adriana Nino to senior vice president, human resources director. She joined Terrabank in 1997. Before that, she was assistant manager at UCFC representative office of Banco Union del Paraguay in Miami, where she was responsible for human resources and assisted in the procurement of new business.
FirstBank named Jose Maria Lacasa as executive vice president and business director for the Florida Region.
GOVERNMENTAL
Day Pitney Florida Partner GaryS.Betensky was elected by the board members of the Palm Beach County Environmental Control Hearing Board to serve as chair. The Board conducts public hearings into the merits of alleged environmental ordinance violations and to issue injunctive and affirmative relief and impose civil penalties for such violations.
LOGISTICS
AshBritt, a rapid-response emergency logistics and disaster response contractor, announced that Brian Thomason was named its vice president of operations and business development. Thomason, who will focus on disaster response and debris removal operations, is a former executive with Bergeron Emergency Services and Bergeron Land Development.
COMMUNITY
The Hispanic Unity of Florida’s board of directors announced a new member: Maria Barnard, director, office of the chief executive officer at JM Family Enterprise Inc.
The Palm Beach County Food Bank added new members to its board of directors. They are: Bob O’Connell, Eileen P. Acello, Jorge Avellana, Susan Rabinowitz and South Bay Mayor Joe Kyles.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Lori Chevy, president, Bank of America Fort Lauderdale, was named chair of the board for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance for the 2021-2022 fiscal year. Alliance officers are Vice Chair Gregory A. Haile, president, Broward College; Secretary
Erick Strati, South Florida market executive, Wells Fargo; and Treasurer Doug Bartel, market leader, Florida Blue.

MEDICAL, WELLNESS
Clinics Can Help, a provider of medical equipment and supplies for children and adults, announced the addition of Linda A. Borgmeyer to its board of directors. Borgmeyer is an occupational therapist and owner and director of Novoleo Therapy and Fitness in Palm Beach Gardens.
Palm Medical Centers, an MBF Healthcare Partners II L.P. portfolio company, named Jim McHugh as its chief financial officer. Most recently McHugh was vice president of financial planning and analytics at Southwestern Health Resources in Dallas-Fort Worth.
CONSTRUCTION
Excel Construction of Florida announced the appointment of Jeffrey D. Leonelli and John D. Smith as construction superintendents. Prior to joining Excel, Leonelli was a superintendent with Emerald Construction Corp. Prior to his appointment at Excel, Smith was general superintendent for Montierre Development.
