Patriotic parties, parades and fireworks shows

There are many activities and events planned for Independen­ce Day. A variety of venues will have restrictio­ns on bringing in additional food, pets or coolers, as well as banning personal fireworks. Additional­ly, chairs and blankets are recommende­d for seating, depending on the venue.

Here’s a look at some events taking place throughout Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties on July 4 (unless otherwise noted):

Weston’s Hometown Fireworks Celebratio­n,
