NTT IndyCar Series: Thermal $1 Million Challenge

This brand-new, made-for-TV exhibition race takes place at The Thermal Club near Palm Springs, California. Drivers compete on the private motorsport club’s 3-mile, 19-turn Twin Palms Raceway with the winner claiming a $1 million prize.

Into the Wild Frontier

INSP, 6 p.m. Season Premiere

This historical docudrama returns for Season 4, telling seven new stories of the intrepid people who helped blaze new trails during America’s westward expansion. The season begins with “Jim Baker: A Born Leader.” Heading west as a young adventurer, greenhorn Jim Baker quickly develops a reputation as a skilled marksman and mountain man. When a party of trappers is surrounded and attacked by Cheyenne and Arapaho warriors, Baker proves that he is also a leader.

WWE Rivals: Hardy Boyz vs. Dudley Boyz vs. Edge & Christian A&E, 8 p.m.

Willing to put their bodies on the line, these six men — The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz and Edge & Christian — threw caution to the wind and embarked on a series of unforgetta­ble battles that included some unique and painful artillery: tables, ladders and chairs. A roundtable composed of Freddie Prinze Jr., Kevin Owens, Johnny Gargano and John Bradshaw Layfield break down this groundbrea­king rivalry.

CATCH A CLASSIC Ingrid Bergman Double Feature TCM, beginning at 8 p.m.

Iconic Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman is the focus this evening as Turner Classic Movies airs two of her beloved classics. First is the film that marked Bergman’s Hollywood debut: Intermezzo (1939), a remake of the 1936 Swedish romantic drama also led by Bergman. She reprises her character from that film here, alongside whether the perpetrato­r was human or a humanoid robot with an AI operating system in the new episode “It Was Automation.”
