Church to hold annual Women’s Day of Reflection
St. Mary’s Bryantown Catholic Church women’s prayer group will hold its second annual Women’s Day of Reflection 8 a.m.-4 p.m. April 16 at the church, 13715 Notre Dame Place, Bryantown. A special guest speaker will present The Truth of the Matter with three different women from the Bible. Women ages 12 and older and of all faiths are encouraged to attend.

Bethel Baptist Church will hold a free community clothing swap 11 a.m.-5 p.m. April 22 and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. April 23 at the church, 6705 Boots Lane, La Plata. Bring clothes, books, small household furniture, or other things you don’t need anymore. Pick up for free anything you do need. You are not required to bring something in order to take something.

Church announces Bible & Leadership Institute spring semester
Accokeek First Church of God announces the Bible & Leadership Institute spring semester will be held 10 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Saturdays, April 23-June 18, at the church, 15821 Livingston Road, Accokeek. The Bible & Leadership Institute offers ministry and leadership courses in the areas of discipleship, leadership, ministr y, and outreach/evangelism with a curriculum tailored for students to earn church ministry certifications recognized worldwide.
