The following items were compiled from reports from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.

Wheels and tires stolen

Sometime between the hours of 8 p.m. on May 20 and 10 a.m. on May 21, someone stole four black wheels and tires from a 2014 Dodge Charger that was parked in the 11000 block of St. Martha Drive in Waldorf. The vehicle was left sitting on brick pavers. Cpl. T. Hemsley is investigat­ing.

Police investigat­e vandalism at North Point High School

On May 21 at 8:50 a.m., officers responded to North Point High School for the report of a destructio­n of property. Upon arrival, officers discovered that profanitie­s and other messages had been spray painted on the football field press box and eagle statue. This incident appears to be related to several other incidents which took place last week at the same location. M/Cpl. P. McCue is investigat­ing.

Man arrested for allegedly stealing jewelry

On May 20, officers responded to the 5000 block of Seahorse Place in Waldorf for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, officers interviewe­d the victim, who advised that several pieces of her jewelry had gone missing in the weeks prior. An investigat­ion revealed that a relative of the victim had recently pawned several pieces of jewelry. Officers interviewe­d Mellique Nicholas, 20, of Waldorf, who admitted to stealing the jewelry and pawning it off. Nicholas was arrested and charged with theft scheme over $1000. Some of the stolen property was recovered at a local pawn shop. Officer C. Chamblee is investigat­ing.

Teen assaulted, robbed near Waldorf Van-Go stop

On May 20 at 6:30 p.m., a 15-year-old male was approached by four males wearing ski masks at the Van-Go stop in the 2300 block of Davis Road in Waldorf. One of the suspects picked the victim up off his feet and threw him to the ground while the other suspects went through his pockets and took a wrist watch and cash. The victim was able to get to his feet and flee the scene. Pfc. R. Herbert is investigat­ing.
