Commission­er Amanda Stewart’s (D) town hall meeting previously scheduled for May 2 is reschedule­d for Monday, June 13, at the Waldorf West Library, room A, 10405 O’Donnell Place, Waldorf. The public is invited to attend. The purpose of town hall meetings is to take questions from those in attendance and discuss items important to citizens and the community. Future town hall meeting dates will be available online at www. CharlesCou­ntyMD.gov.

The 4th & 5th Districts Democratic Club will meet Monday, June 13, at Ledo’s at The Rivah restaurant on Cobb Island. The guest speaker will be Charles County Commission­ers’ President Peter Murphy (D). Social hour 6 p.m., buffet dinner 7 p.m., and meeting from 8-9 p.m. Dinner reservatio­ns are required. Indian Head Planning Commission will meet 7 p.m. at the Village Green Pavilion, 100 Walter Thomas Road, Indian Head.

The United Democratic Women of MD Southern Region Luncheon will take place 11 a.m. June 18 at the Prime Street Grille, White Plains. The Board of County Commission­ers’ Quarterly Town Hall Meeting (District 2) will be 6 p.m. June 28 at the Village Green Pavilion, 100 Walter Thomas Road, Indian Head.
