Lighthouse Baptist to hold vacation bible school

Lighthouse Baptist Church will hold vacation Bible school 5:30-8:30 p.m. June 22-24 at the church, 3150 Middletown Road, Waldorf. Theme is “I’ve got Talent, showcasing my work for Jesus.” There will be Bible lessons, arts and crafts, and games. Dinner will be served each night. Free. All ages. Church to sponsor bus trip to Sight and Sound Theatre in July

Accokeek First Church of God will sponsor a bus trip 8:15 a.m. Friday, July 29, to see the play “Samson” at Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster County, Pa. The bus will load at the church, 15821 Livingston Road, Accokeek. Trip cost $110 for ages 13 or older; $100 for ages 3-12. Cost includes theater ticket, bus transporta­tion and all-you-can-eat buffet at Bird N Hand restaurant. Installmen­t payments will be accepted by check, cash or money order. Final payment due by June 26.
