Metropolitan United Methodist Church ushers and communion stewards will host Soul Food Dinner 11 a.m.5 p.m. June 24 at the church, 3385 Metropolitan Church Road, Indian Head. Metropolitan United Methodist Church will sponsor a youth football camp 10 a.m.2:30 p.m. July 9 at Matthew Henson Middle School, 3535 Livingston Road, Indian Head. Registration will be 9-10 a.m.
Learn drills, techniques, and life lessons from Mike Martin, NFL Houston Texans National Scout and some of his NFL friends. Camp includes lunch and beverages. Cost is free. Youth ages 7-17 are invited to attend.
