Thanks for supporting Wounded Warrior

-

On Tuesday, Aug. 9, the Solomons Charter Captains Association (SCCA) hosted the Wounded Warrior Program for the fourth annual WWP fishing event and barbecue from Calvert Marina in Solomons.

The SCCA was honored to provide a day of fishing with breakfast, lunch and an all-you-can-eat barbecue to over 80 Wounded Warriors and their families.

All participants went home with commemorative shirts and coolers full of fish after a great day in Southern Maryland.

We appreciate everyone who supported this event, allowing us to give back to these brave men and women and their families who have sacrificed so much.

Without the generous support of these sponsors, this event would not have been possible: TechnoGuard, Data Center Solutions, Sure Power Inc., Life Support Services Inc., Adam’s the Place for Ribs, Dominion, Washburn’s Boat Yard, Calvert Marina, Chesapeake Custom Embroider y, Rocky’s Bait, Solomons Boat Ramp and Bait, Boyles Tavern, CWF Bookkeeping, Patuxent Renovations and Jacqui South Photography.

Thanks to all of these sponsors for their support in making this a memorable event.

Thank you all for helping make this event a continued success. Capt. Wally Williams, Prince Frederick The writer is president of the Solomons Charter Captains Association.
