Charles County Commissioner

Ken Robinson (D) will host a “Coffee with the Commissioner” town hall meeting at 11 a.m. at the La Plata Starbucks, 6675 Crain Highway, La Plata. The purpose of the meeting is to take questions from those in attendance and to discuss items of importance to the citizens and the community. The meeting will be videotaped for online viewing.

Sen Thomas “Mac” Middleton (D-Charles) and Del. Sally Jameson

(D-Charles) will take budget and general questions from the public at the Southern Maryland Homeowners Association 11 a.m., at Colonial Charles HOA, 3235 Shadow Park Lane, Waldorf. La Plata Town Council will meet 7 p.m. at town hall, 305 Queen Anne St., La Plata. The Charles County Branch of the NAACP will meet 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the ReMax Building in White Plains. Nominations for the 20172018 Executive Committee will be discussed. Members of the Charles County Branch of the NAACP are invited to attend.
