Vote Trump

-

Now is a very important and life-changing time in our country. Many are extremely dissatisfied with our current government and feel the government and it’s current president, Barack Obama, have not been forthcoming or transparent in providing the American people information about what is occurring in our own country. Only later do we find out that the money being paid to Iran was coordinated to coincide along with the release of hostages which is defined as ransom, if you care to look it up.

I will use a quote by Dr. Phil which is very simple but accurately defines the problem with our current government: “You cannot change what you do not acknowledge.” Only one candidate has clearly defined the problems in our country and has articulated he can solve them and will do his best to solve them, and that is the GOP nominee Donald Trump.

Yes, he is a flawed candidate, but all of the candidates have their flaws and weaknesses. He clearly loves his country and will not accept and does not need a salary. He has an excellent grasp of trade and also has created jobs through his business and will be able to use his ability and knowledge to create jobs once in the White House. He will put America and its people first which is currently not being done. He will be tough in regards to foreign policy and has stated that he will do his best to keep America safe in regards to ISIS and to restricting refugees coming into this country until they can be properly vetted. He recognizes the social and racial unrest in this country and that law enforcement is not given the proper respect and that many incidents and fatalities occur because of a person simply not complying with what a police officer asks a person who is detained to do.

Trump will surround himself with intelligent people like Dr. Ben Carson, Senator Trey Gowdy and others who have supported him and also are intelligent enough to recognize the current system is broken and that change is needed. He has selected an outstanding running mate, Mike Pence, who is a man of integrity and also has clearly defined the problems in our country and how to solve them. Many were impressed with his vice presidential debate performance and thought he would make a good president.

Trump is concerned about our veterans and want to insure that they receive the medical care, mental health care, assistance with obtaining jobs and housing and everything they need assistance with to return to civilian life after serving our country and often suffering severe injuries.

I ask you to not focus on all the negative press and accusations concerning this man, which I know have made many feel they cannot vote for him. But this is not a personality race and, although it makes us feel better when we like a candidate and can relate to them, the question we should be asking ourselves is “Can he or she do the job?” If you can run a business, you can run this country.

I also ask you not to accept whatever you hear or watch on political news as being completely accurate regarding all the candidates. I regularly watch political news programs and some are clearly biased towards the Democratic party and some for the Republican party. Often one network will contradict what I just heard on another network. I view watching them and researching online as gathering information, although at times discerning the truth is very difficult.

If you are content with the status quo or the way things are, then Clinton is your candidate. If you like myself feel this country is declining and needs to move in a different direction and that electing Clinton will be more of what we have had in recent years, I suggest you consider Trump. No, he doesn’t always say the right things, but he went to Louisiana and donated supplies, money and comfort while Obama was on the golf course and Hillary offered words of support but was missing in action.

Words express our views but actions speak louder than words. Donald Trump is a man of action and may not make America great, but I believe he will make America better for all American people.
