Cottman Transmission releases coloring book

-

Cottman Transmission and Total Auto Care has announced the release of a new coloring and activities book for children starring the Cottman Man, a character that has been in TV commercials, hosted a blog and taken on a fresh look in a series of animated online shorts.

“Cottman is proud to set an example in Norfolk,” Ken Barker, the local co-owner of the Waldorf location, said in a press release. “Families — especially kids — are an essential part of who we are. We are locally owned and operated and our family roots run deep. We take our role in Waldorf seriously.”

Ken and Cara Barker, co-owners of the Waldorf location, will be delivering stacks of the books to children at Children’s National Medical Center toward the end of this month. Filled with activities, scenes to color, mazes and much more, these books are a great way to lift the spirits of children while teaching them about car safety and vehicle functionality, the said in the press release.

The Cottman coloring books can also be found in the waiting rooms of Cottman centers across Maryland.

“When you have a chance to impact a child’s life in a positive way like we do with each and every family that visits our location, you begin to realize the importance of our work,” Cara Barker, said in the release. “The coloring books take our impact a step further, and we’re proud to be doing that in Waldorf.”
