Basketball

will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 19 to 23 and June 26 to 30 at North Point High School for children 8 to 14.

The camp is structured to teach the fundamenta­ls of the game of basketball. Players will learn the individual fundamenta­ls through dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. They will also learn how to use those fundamenta­ls and apply them to game situations.

All campers will receive embroidere­d gym bag, mesh jersey and short, shirt, basketball and water bottle.

The cost is $200 for one session and a $300 if attend both sessions. Add $50 for before and/or after school care.

The program is for children 5 to 18 of active duty military, Department of Defense civilians and contractor­s, reservists on active duty or inactive duty while training, and children of military retirees.

Golf

will offer junior golf clinics at White Plains Golf Course to learn the basic skills needed to become a confident golfer.

Sessions include proper golf course etiquette, safety, rules, grip, stance, posture, chipping, putting, irons, woods and on-thecourse instructio­n.

The clinics will occur from 8 to 9:15 a.m. June 26 to 29 for children 8 to 12 and from 8 to 9:15 a.m. July 10 to 13 for children 13 to 17. The cost for each four-day session is $60. Sessions include instructio­n, contests and prizes.

Gymnastics

Soccer

under the technical direction of Coach Daniel Bulls, is seeking competitiv­e and committed players to tryout for the 2017-18 season, for its travel soccer program.

Boys teams are those born in the years 2000 through 2009 and for girls in born in the years 2006 to 2008.

Players train and play year-round should expect to play in 6 to 10 high level tournament­s throughout the year. All teams are profession­ally coached and participat­e in the Eastern Developmen­t Program League.
