Rickert crafts memoir of his alternative start to a career path
Andy Rickert, of Mechanicsville, recently published “A Marine from Renault,” a memoir of an alternative start to a career path. Rickert shares the true story of his experiences upon leaving high school and entering the U.S. Marine Corps in 1954, at the age of 17 and his adventures that follow. He aims to demonstrate that there is a path to success after high school for those who lack the resources or interest to continue their education. The book is available in paperback and electronically on Amazon, Google, Kindle, Barnes and Noble, and Archway Publishing.
