Rorie graduates from Delaware State
of White Plains graduated cum laude from Delaware State University with a bachelor of science degree in business management. He was also commissioned second lieutenant at Delaware State.
Rorie is a 2012 graduate of North Point High School.
Park named to dean’s list at Susquehanna University
of Waldorf, a psychology major, was named to the dean’s list at Susquehanna University for the spring 2017 semester. The dean’s list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4.0 for the semester. To qualify, students must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours.
Park is a 2014 graduate of Thomas Stone High School. She is the daughter of Joe and Lisa Park.
Wilford graduates from Williams College
received a bachelor of arts in classics and philosophy from Williams College at the college’s 228th commencement exercises on June 4, 2017. He is the son of Barbara and Mark Wilford of Brandywine.
Wilford, during college, was a teaching assistant in philosophy. In his junior year he attended the Williams-Exeter Programme at Oxford. He received the Donovan-Moody and Lansing Fellowships for graduate funding at Oxford University; the Collin and Lilli Roche 1993 Fellowship for thesis research on Plato’s moral psychology; two Class of 1957 research grants to perform summer research in philosophy; and the Lazlo Versenyi Memorial Prize.

Davis named to dean’s list at Baylor University
of Waldorf was named to the dean’s list at Baylor University, Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences, for the spring 2017 semester. To be named to the dean’s list, a student must be an undergraduate with a minimum grade-point average of 3.7, while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.
Mercer named to dean’s list at Elizabethtown College

Cutlip is a 2009 graduate of Henr y E. Lackey High School and a 2013 graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry.
Cutlip is the daughter of Dickie and Gay Cutlip. Grandparents are Joe DeLozier, Richard Cutlip Sr., and the late Patsy DeLozier and Linda Cutlip.
Barnes named to dean’s list at Quinnipiac University
of Waldorf was named to dean’s list at Quinnipiac University for the spring 2017 semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester.
of Waldorf was among the graduate and undergraduate students recognized at Frostburg State University’s Honors Convocation in May 2017. He received departmental honors in theatre and dance.
Waters performed in five productions, stage managed four, served as dramaturg for “To Kill a Mockingbird” and designed masks, lighting and sound for five shows. He received two high honors from the Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Festival: an Irene Ryan Nomination for his performance in “The Mousetrap” and a Certificate of Merit for Assistant Stage Management for “Around the World in 80 Days.”
Henderson inducted into honor society at Pitt-Bradford
of Waldorf, an exercise science major, was inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta, the National Honorary Society for First Year Students, during Honors Convocation at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
Reber, Burke graduate from Loyola University
of Waldorf and Emily Burke of Mechanicsville graduated May 20, 2017, from Loyola University Maryland.
Reber received a bachelor of arts in global studies.
Burke received a bachelor of arts in political science.
