Fine arts/photography exhibitors should take note of changes for this year’s county fair

Folks it’s that special time of the year again: The 94th Annual Charles County Fair runs Sept. 14-17 with all the fun and excitement we look forward to each year. The Fine Arts and Photography Division will be really special with the new and exciting modifications introduced at last year’s fair. They were designed to enhance your experience as both exhibitors and viewers. We are looking forward to many new exhibitors this year.

Many of the exciting changes fall under photography with updates to entry rules, division categories, sections, classes and age classifications. It is very important to refer to The Fair Book, on pages 51 and 52, for all new changes in Department “R” that were introduced in 2016. The Fair Book was inserted into The Maryland Independent in July and can also be picked up at the Fair Office. You may also go to http://www.charlescountyfair.com/. Look for the Exhibitor Tab and follow the links to Department R.

The Charles County Arts Alliance Board of Directors, its members and the enthusiastic volunteers are expecting to see all of our old friends and are hoping to make many new friends, too. It’s always a fun time for the entire family and we’ll be looking forward to our annual visit.
