The Southern Maryland Alliance for Rapid Transit (SMART) will meet 6-7:30 p.m. at the Waldorf West Library to plan next steps in the campaign to bring Light Rail Transit service from the Branch Avenue Metrorail Station down the MD 5/US 301 corridor to Waldorf and White Plains in Charles County.

The Charles County Economic

Development Department will host its annual Fall Meeting 8 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Nov. 7, at the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Community Center, 3090 Crain Highway, Waldorf.
