The secret’s out about our academic family

-

Greetings!

We were excited to welcome back nearly all Emmanuel’s students on March 1, bringing an end to the hybrid learning model. Incredible dedication and determination have been exhibited by our parents, teachers, and students throughout the pandemic. Kudos to the Emmanuel Family!

People often remark to me that Emmanuel Christian Academy is one of Springfield’s best kept secrets. I have to laugh because it is certainly not our intention to be a secret! Allow me to ask a few “Do You Know” questions to test your knowledge of Emmanuel:

■ Do you know that Emmanuel is a Christ-centered academic family, with our focus on preparing a generation of leaders with character TO IMPACT THE WORLD? Students are immersed in an environment that pursues academic excellence, balanced with opportunities for spiritual, physical and social growth.

■ Do you know that 100% of our families receive financial awards at some level?

■ Do you know that ECA has 1:1 Chromebook technology available to all students from grades TK-12, allowing entire classrooms to be online at the same time and have the same classroom experience?

■ Do you know that the average student to teacher ratio is 16:1?

■ Do you know that ECA is EdChoice approved, providing students from designated public schools the opportunity to attend Emmanuel, as well as providing low-income students scholarship opportunities?

■ Raise your hand, if you knew that Emmanuel Christian Academy has an Aerospace Institute, the ONLY High School in all of Ohio that provides STEM College Credit education, preparing students from all over Clark County and surrounding areas for careers in the aerospace, aviation and engineering industry?

■ Do you know we pride ourselves in providing a safe and nurturing academic environment for our students to grow all the way from TK-12th grade? That we value diversity at ECA because we know our differences are what make us great, and that it is a reflection of our heavenly home?

■ Do you know that not only is the Bible specifically taught as part of every grade level, but that biblical principles are interlaced in all that we do at ECA?

■ Do you know we’re in the midst of hosting informational open houses for the upcoming school year? Our next one is todayfrom 3 to 5 p.m., so stop by and take a tour. If you can’t attend, schedule a tour, or make plans to shadow a student for the day by contacting Lynne Willis at lwillis@ecaoh.com or 937-390-3777.

■ Do you know of families interested in exploring Christian education for their children? Tell them about Emmanuel! Our greatest honor is in having our own Emmanuel families refer other families to us.

The pandemic made ECA stronger! We are looking forward to ending the school year strong and preparing for an incredible August start of our next school year.

For a safe, caring environment that challenges the mind, spirit and body, experience Emmanuel.
