Movie: Tyler Perry’s Acrimony, 8 PM on LIF; 12:01 AM on LIF: Tyler

Perry wrote, directed and produced this 2018 psychological thriller starring Taraji P. Henson (“Empire”) as Melinda, a devoted wife who is content to support her engineer husband, Robert (Lyriq Bent), as he struggles to find a buyer for his innovative battery design. Eventually, however, Melinda realizes that her self-absorbed spouse is merely using her as a human ATM machine while he looks elsewhere for romance. Crystle Stewart, Ptosha Storey, Jazmyn Simon and Ajiona Alexus also are featured.

Magnum P.I., 9 PM on Ch. 7 and Ch. 12: While working a case involving the recovery of stolen truffles worth a fortune, Magnum and Higgins (Jay Hernandez, Perdita Weeks) are shocked to find a baby abandoned at the gates of their estate in the new episode “Cry Murder.” They can’t help suspecting it’s not a coincidence they’re already trying to locate the infant’s mother. Zachary Knighton, Stephen Hill and Tim Kang also star.

Wynonna Earp, 10 PM on SYFY: Series creator Emily Andras breathed audacious new life into Beau Smith’s supernatural comic book series, producing a sassy, genre-defying Western horror comedy with a defiant female-centric take on the occasionally violent action. The show’s true life force, though, came from leading lady Melanie Scrofano, whose portrayal of the title character — the cranky great-greatgranddaughter of Wild West lawman Wyatt Earp — has been a peppery joy from start to finish. Fan favorites Tim Rozon and Varun Saranga, among others, likewise helped carry the show, which ends its fourseason run tonight.
