Fool Tom the Turkey

Fool Tom the Turkey will test your knowledge about wild turkeys during this fun family activity. Tom the Turkey is at Old Reid

Park Nov. 16-20 and will be hiding in 5 different locations at Old Reid Park and the Kirby Preserve to ask questions to try and fool you. Submit your answers by email to nationaltr­ail@ springfile­dohio.gov. Each correct answer counts as an entry into a drawing for the chance to win a gift certificat­e from Bowman and Landes Turkeys. Anime Club

Anime Club is for youth ages 13-15 and is scheduled for Thursday, November 18 from 6- 7 p.m. at the NTPRD Administra­tion Building. Get together with friends who love anime and manga as much as you do. Club meetings will involve discussing anime, learning about japanese culture, watching anime, drawing, and more. The registrati­on fee is $5 and the deadline to register is Nov. 17. Registrati­on is available online or by calling 937328-7275.

Pilgrim Plunge

The Pilgrim Plunge is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 19 from 6-8 p.m. at the Wittenberg University Natatorium. Dive into the holidays with fun in the pool. Children 7 and under must have an adult at least 18 years of age with them in the water. The pre-registrati­on fee is $3 and registrati­on is available online by going to ntprd.org.

Stamp-a-stack

Stamp-a-stack is for ages 16 & older and will be held on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to noon at the NTPRD Administra­tion Building. Wow your friends this holiday season with hand-made Christmas cards. Instructio­n and all supplies needed will be supplied to complete 12 cards. Light snacks will be provided. The registrati­on fee is $30 and the deadline to register is Nov. 16. Registrati­on is available online by going to ntprd.org or in person at the NTPRD Administra­tion Building.

Thanksgivi­ng Shoebox Parade

The 2nd annual Thanksgivi­ng Shoebox Parade will be aired on the NTPRD Facebook page at 10 a.m. on Thanksgivi­ng morning. The special theme this year is “Books Brought to Life”.

Yuletide Celebratio­n

The Yuletide Celebratio­n will take place in Snyder

Park on Friday, Dec. 3 from 5 - 8 p.m. Celebrate the holiday season making merry memories. Start off the festive weekend by stopping by the Snyder Park Clubhouse to get into the holiday spirit. Kids of all ages can listen to holiday music, take a horse drawn sleigh ride and enjoy the beautiful holiday displays and of course visit with Santa. Trail Hikers

Trail Hikers is held on Wednesdays from 10-11

a.m. The first, third and fifth Wednesday of the month is held at Rebert Pike Nature Park and at the Kirby Preserve on the second and fourth weeks. These guided, self-paced hikes allow you to explore and enjoy our local natural environmen­t. These trails are all natural so be sure to wear your hiking boots. Trail Walkers

Trail Walkers is open to adults ages 18 and older and held on Tuesdays from

10 - 11 a.m. The walk on November 23 will be held on the Simon Kenton Trail and meeting at the Carleton Davidson Stadium. Trail Walkers is an organized walking program which highlights the multi-purpose trail system while promoting fitness, fellowship and fun.
