Best known to many for her series roles in “Call the Midwife” and “The Crown” (playing Camilla Parker Bowles in the latter), Emerald Fennell made a formidable feature directoria­l debut with this 2020 black-comedy thriller, earning an Oscar nod in that capacity and taking the award itself for her screenplay. Carey Mulligan scored a best actress nomination (along with several other accolades) for her fearless performanc­e as a 30-yearold medical school dropout who embarks on a vigilante crusade against men who victimize women. Bo Burnham, Jennifer Coolidge and Alison Brie co-star.

Mama June: From Not to Hot, 9 PM on WE; 10:01 PM on WE; 11:01 PM on WE; 3:01 AM on WE:

This docuseries spinoff/ sequel to “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” returns with new episodes to complete Season 5, as a sober “Mama” June Shannon tries to stay clean and reconcile with her family. In the new “Road to Redemption: Behind Closed Doors,” Mama reveals some big secrets and the family settles into a new house. In another dramatic moment, Pumpkin goes into labor with her second baby, and Alana’s sweet 16 party approaches. On a darker note, Mama goes into hiding after her breakup with Geno backfires.
