2 and Ch. 5: This semiautobi­ographical sitcom wraps up its sophomore season with two back-toback episodes. First, in “You’ve Gotta Get Down to Get Up,” the WWF sends Dwayne (Uli Latukefu) to 1996-era Memphis, Tenn., where he’ll train to develop his wrestling skills. Then, the season finale “Let the People Decide” opens in the near-future, where political candidate Dwayne Johnson (playing himself) must make it through the ups and downs of Election Day 2032. NBC recently greenlit Season 3 of this sitcom.

This Is Us, 9 PM on Ch. 2

and Ch. 5: Well, we can’t say series creator Dan Fogelman didn’t warn us. Periodical­ly during this Emmy-winning drama’s run, Fogelman has told journalist­s the time-hopping saga of the Pearson clan will span six seasons, which end tonight in a series finale that’s bound to tug at the heartstrin­gs. Just as predictabl­y, Fogelman is playing it close to the vest when it comes to story revelation­s, although star Milo Ventimigli­a — who plays patriarch Jack Pearson — promises “It’s truly, truly going to deliver.” Sterling K. Brown and Mandy Moore also star.

PM on Ch. 2 and Ch. 5: The season finale, “I’ll Be Your Shelter,” finds a massive hurricane barreling down on New York, so Bloom (Janet Montgomery) and the hospital team scramble to get emergency preparatio­ns in place. Meanwhile, Max and Helen (Ryan Eggold, Freema Agyeman) plan an intimate wedding when she returns from London, and Reynolds (Jocko Sims) finally reaches his estranged father. Elsewhere, Iggy and Martin (Tyler Labine, recurring guest star Mike Doyle) reach a crossroads in their marriage. This medical drama will return for its fifth and final season.
