Movie: The Blind Side, 7 PM on BRAVO; 10 PM on BRAVO:

A true story that had a major box-office impact, this 2009 drama from director-screenwrit­er John Lee Hancock (“The Rookie”) became an Academy Award contender for best picture and also brought Sandra Bullock an Oscar as best actress. She and country-music star Tim Mcgraw play a Southern couple who take in troubled youth Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron) and give him the opportunit­y to become a football standout. Kathy Bates co-stars.

Movie: Moriah’s Lighthouse, 8 PM on HALL:

Based on a book series by Serena Miller, this 2022 romance stars Rachelle Lefevre as the titular Moriah, a gifted woodworkin­g artist living and working in a French coastal town. During her idle moments, Moriah daydeams of restoring the local lighthouse, which has lots of character but has seen better days. She despairs of realizing her vision, though, when Ben (Luke Macfarlane), an American architect, arrives to give the lighthouse a makeover for a different buyer. Valeria Cavalli also stars.

Movie: Suitcase Killer: The Melanie Mcguire Story, 8 PM on LIF; 12:01 AM on LIF:

This true crime saga chronicles the notorious case of fertility nurse Melanie Mcguire (Candice King, “The Vampire Diaries”), who appeared to be the ideal wife and mother until she became besotted with a handsome doctor (Jackson Hurst, “Drop Dead Diva”). The passionate affair that ensued led her to murder her husband, Bill (Michael Roark), and dispose of his dismembere­d remains in multiple suitcases. Wendie Malick (“Hot in Cleveland”) also stars in this 2022 drama as Patti Prezioso, the assistant attorney general prosecutin­g the murder case.
