The Board of Trustees of the Clark County Public Library will meet in regular session on Monday, March 20th, 2023 at 4:00 PM in the Gaier Room of the Main Library. Seek and Find - Shamrocks: month of March

Can you find the images of shamrocks hidden around the Lenski Children’s Center? See the staff person at the desk for a prize after you’ve found them all. Ages 3-18 (and still in school).

Teen Advisory Board: 6:00 p.m. Monday

Join the board to help make the library a better place for you and others. Share thoughts and opinions on how to make the library more teen-friendly. For ages 1318 in Lenski Program Room. Read This! Book Club: 6:00 p.m. Monday This club meets the third Monday of each month.

This month’s selection: The Kitchen Front by Jennifer Ryan. For adults. This month’s meeting to be held in Meeting Rooms 1 and 2. Little Blossoms Storytime: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday

This storytime engages babies and toddlers with books and learning through stories, music, movement and a simple craft idea to help develop fine motor skills. For ages birth to 2.5 years. Held in the Gaier Room.

Little Sprouts Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday

Led by a profession­al staff librarian, this storytime prepares preschoole­rs for later reading success through interactiv­e stories, songs, rhymes, a craft idea and other fun activities to promote early literacy. For ages 3-5. Held in the Gaier Room.

Hiit to be Fit: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday

Join Marian Plank (NASM, CPT, CNC) for a free full body workout combining elements of strength and cardio set to a fun, upbeat soundtrack. Bring yourself and a mat! For adults.

Crafty Tweens: 4:30 p.m. Tuesday

A crafting program for tweens in the Lenski Program Room. Today’s craft will be sand art. For ages 8-12. No registrati­on required. Preschool Yoga Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Friday

Join us for stories incorporat­ing basic yoga, movement and meditation. Led by staff for preschool age children with their guardian in the Lenski Program Room. Bigfoot in Ohio: 3:00 p.m. Saturday

Join Mike Miller and Mike Feltner of the Ohio Night Stalkers as they share updates on the tracking of Big Foot in Ohio. As seating is limited in the Gaier Room, registrati­on is required. Please call Community Engagement at (937) 3280204. Appropriat­e for all ages.

Come spend as much or as little time to help put together this community project. The puzzle will remain until it has been completed. A new puzzle will be selected to replace it. March Madness (Library Style): March 1 – March 29 Vote for your favorite Disney character and move them from the Elite Eight to the Championsh­ip Round. Characters include: Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, Dumbo, Tinkerbell, Cinderella, Tigger and Goofy. Vote once each visit. All ages welcome to participat­e.

Makerspace Projects: March 20 – April 17

Come check out the library’s makerspace technology while it visits the branch in March and April. Hours will be: Tuesdays 2-4 PM and Saturday April 1 from 2-4

Join fellow Pokémon fanatics to talk, battle, trade (with a parent’s permission) or show off your collection. You must bring your own cards. Ages 6-12.

Storytime: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Thursday Program introduces toddlers and preschoole­rs to books, rhymes, music and crafts and teaches them how to interact with other children their age. Please call to register.

1920s Appalachia­n Music w/lafferty Pike: 2:00 p.m. Saturday

This local all-female band plays traditiona­l, harddrivin­g Bluegrass but with a fresh, positive attitude and lighter hand on the reins. This is part of the One Book, Many Communitie­s program.

Learn the art of Ukrainian

Egg Decorating in this class for adults. Everything to make your own Pysanka will be provided. Registrati­on is required. Call or stop in to register.

Storytime: 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Thursday Together we will share stories, sing, move to music and make a craft. It’s a perfect chance to learn how to interact with other children ages 2-5. Parent or caregiver must be present with each child.

D&D Club: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Thursday
