‘SIMONA'S SEARCH'

Through Feb. 11

Hartford Stage’s production of “Simona’s Search” is the world premiere of the play by Netflix’s “Ozark ” writer Martín Zimmerman. The play follows Simona who wants to know more about her father’s life in Latin America before he moved to the United States. ‘THE HOT WING KING'

Through March 24

The Pulitzer Prize-winning play “The Hot Wing King” tells the story of a couple’s relationsh­ip drama and a hot wing competitio­n. With only days before Memphis’ annual “Hot Wang Festival,” Cordell and his crew are preparing, but when his boyfriend’s nephew shows up, Cordell’s shot at the competitio­n and his relationsh­ip are called into question. The comedy is about Danny, a blue-collar New York City sanitation worker, and Ivy-league educated “newbie,” Maggie, who is assigned to his route. ‘A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE'

Through March 10

When Long Wharf Theatre opened in 1965 one of the first plays it staged was by Arthur Miller. The theater has undergone some changes over the decades, but it is once again opening its season with an Arthur Miller play. A View from the Bridge isbeing staged at Canal Dock Boathouse. The show follows a longshorem­an, Eddie, in the 1950s who is raising his niece with his wife. FIRE AND ICE FESTIVAL

Feb. 10

This event is set to bring around five dozen ice sculptures to the streets of Putnam. Aside from the sculptures, guests will also be able to find fire dancing performanc­es, a cake decorating contest, an inflatable igloo and more.

KATHY GRIFFIN

Feb. 16

Emmy and Grammy award-winning comedian Kathy Griffin will be bringing her My Life on the D-List tour to the Bushnell. TURNPIKE TROUBADOUR­S AND CODY JINKS

Country musicians Turnpike Troubadour­s and Cody Jinks are linking up for a co-headlining run of shows that will stop at Toyota Oakdale Theatre. The Turnpike Troubadour­s are currently celebratin­g the release of their sixth album, “A Cat in the Rain,” while Cody Jinks released his single, “Sober Thing” in December. DISTURBED

Feb. 10

Rock band Disturbed, who rose to fame in the 2000s with hit songs like “Down with the Sickness” and “Ten Thousand Fists” will take to the stage of the Mohegan Sun Arena for its Take Back Your Life tour. ANDREA BOCELLI

Feb. 23

Iconic Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli’s first concert in Hartford in 25 years takes place the XL Center in Hartford on Feb. 23. Bocelli, who has been blind since he was 12, has spent more than 20 years becoming one of the most recognizab­le opera singers in the world. He has performed for heads of state, religious leaders and at global events like the Olympic Games and the World Cup. Bocelli has been nominated for five Grammy Awards, six Latin Grammys and one Emmy and has won six Classic BRIT awards. He performed at Bridgeport’s Total Mortgage Arena in 2022.
