Agatha P. Hyde passed away on December 29, 2020 in Greenwich, CT at the age of eighty years old.

Agatha was born in West Moreland, Jamaica on March 3, 1940. She married her husband Adrian Hyde in Kingston, Jamaica, where they lovingly raised their five children until migrating to the United States in 1984.

A longtime resident of Stamford, CT. She was a devoted Christian who enjoyed reading her Bible, ministerin­g to others, and helping those in the community. She also loved to cook and listened to gospel music. Described as kind, funny, and strong; “she was everyone’s Mom”. Agatha was loved and respected by many who knew her.

She was predecease­d by her husband Adrian and survived by her five children: Clive, Lois, Phillip, Claudia, and Tracey. She is also survived by her nine grandchild­ren and thirteen great-grandchild­ren.

Her family welcomes all friends and relatives at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, in Stamford on Tuesday, January 5th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a Prayer Service to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Her Prayer Services will be live streamed, for family and friends to join virtually.
