Frank A. Lucherini, 88, a resident of Stamford, CT passed away on Jan. 1, 2021.

Frank was born on Sept. 19, 1932 in Stamford, CT, the son of the late Umberto and Carmella Lucherini. He graduated from Stamford High School in 1951. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 – 1955.

Frank was the proud owner of the Summer St. Dairy Queen for 62 years and went on to establish many businesses.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Vivian (Nocita) of 65 years, son Richard Lucherini (Angie), daughter Lynn Sullivan and son-in-law Bob, daughter Dana Pugliese and son-in-law Gary and son Frank Lucherini and daughter-in-law Patty. He is also survived by a sister, Louise Audino Previte, sister-in-law Chickie DeBartolom­eo and brother-in-law Joe Golia, grandchild­ren Daniel Sullivan (Jessi), Richard Lucherini (Brittney), Ashley Sullivan, Gary Pugliese (Nikki), Amanda Lucherini, Samantha Lucherini, Matia Pugliese Berti (Vin), Joey Lucherini, Mark Pugliese, great-grandsons Rex and Ryder Lucherini, many nieces and nephews and special family members Katie, Callie and Kendall Elumba. He is also survived by business partners Jane Sementini, Lynne Murphy and Julie Sementini.

Frank is predecease by brother, Umberto Lucherini Jr., sister Camille Golia, brotherin-laws Michael DeBartolom­eo, Anthony Audino and Joseph Previte and a very special godson, Michael DeBartolom­eo

Jr. He was also predecease­d by business partner and best friend Louis Sementini.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021 from

9 – 11 at Lacerenza Funeral Home, Schuyler Ave., Stamford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 at St. Bridget’s Church, Newfield Ave., Stamford. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
