Emilia Bajus

Emilia Bajus, 80, of Stamford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 25, 2021. She was born in Malastow, Poland to the late Teodor and Antonia Juszcak Ropicki.

Emilia was an employee at Clairol & Bristol Myers for 37 years before retiring. She was a parishione­r at St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Stamford. If she could not attend Mass at Church, she would watch Mass on TV. Her favorite past times was gardening and watching the game network/ Judge Judy and when the weather was nice, she enjoyed taking long walks at Cove Island with her husband Jerry.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry J. Bajus of Stamford and her loving son, Miron Bajus and his wife Marie of Stamford, as well as her sister, Jaroslawa Hudak of Stratford and her brother in law, Samuel Hrywna of Stamford.

Besides her parents, she was also predecease­d by her sister, Maria R. Hrywna and two brothers, John Ropicki and Roman Ropicki.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 10:30 at St. Vladimir’s Ukranian Catholic Church, 24 Wenzel Terrace, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. There will be no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Emilia’s memory to St. Vladimir’s Ukranian Catholic Church, 24 Wenzel Terrace, Stamford, CT 06902
