Louis Mark Marzullo

1962-2021.

Mark Marzullo passed away on March 24th, 2021 in a Clearwater, FL after battling cancer. Mark was born on July 28th, in Greenwich, CT to the late Louis Marzullo and his wife Gay (Swanson) Marzullo. Mark was a long time resident of Stamford, CT and relocated to Clearwater, FL in 2017. He attended JM Wright Technical school where he studied culinary arts, furthering his passion for cooking. Renowned for his coveted chili recipe, he first owned and operated a hotdog truck in the cove area and then recently opened “Al’s New York Push Cart” in Clearwater. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing, crosswords, blasting bluesy classic rock, and was an Oakland Raiders fan.

Mark worked for O&G Industries for over a decade and was a member of Teamsters Local 191.

Mark’s friends loved to be around him and he was always up for a good time and made the most out of life. He was a unique, loving soul who marched to the beat of his own drum and loved his soul mate, Cindy, and their children with all of his being.

Mark was predecease­d by his father, Louis, and Cindy Smith.

He is survived by his children, Erica F.P. Smith, PA-C, Nicholas and Alexander (Army); his mother Gay Marzullo; his sister Lisa Kopec (Eddie), his niece Kelsey and nephew Joseph, and many other loving family members.

Thank you to all Mark’s friends, neighbors, medical profession­als, and those that helped him along the way -”with a little help from my friends.”

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, April 17th at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea, Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT. Access is limited second to COVID precaution­s. Burial will be held privately at a later date.
